Inferno
Woods were blazing
As the odious fire was raising.
Gobbling everything on its way
Making forest dark and grey.
Creatures gave out a cry,
As flames fluttered, reaching the sky.
Whirled the perennial flame,
Capturing them, without proclaim.
It raged with its light bright…
Whilst critters howled in fright.
Hither and thither they ran
To find shelter, in that span.
Spark, that ignited into flame
Devoured the woods, as they came.
Turning the air foul with soot
Shocked were all the brutes.
Species were wiped down,
Like dust, they lay on the ground.
Heavens, have some mercy! All cried,
As tears rolled in prayers worldwide!
