Until death do us part...

Until death do us part…

Shall I call you my abode,
Or a carriage in which I rode?
Sustaining me for lifetimes
In diverse sojourn
Of this world wide…
From neonate to a veteran,
You nurtured me with pride.
Keeping me shielded
Many identities,
For me you yielded;
Every cell in your sinew,
Filled in me a zing new.
In life’s different phase
Serenity, you made me chase.

Until death do us part…
I'll take care of you;
Savoring every breath
Old and new.
Till I meet death...
I’ll honor thee, O body of mine.
My shelter, my gift from Divine!
