Dear December
Dear December,
Frigid are your days and night,
Yet when comes sun warm
Filled are the hours with warm light.
Often you make us freeze
With your cold chilly breeze…
And how we wait to go to our abode
Where love and gratitude hoard.
We love you to the core
As we hear your winter lore…
For me, Dear December
You bring hope.
Tough times do pass
You teach us to cope.
Do come again, dear December…
And give us another chance
To recollect the year gone…
In dance and prance!
