Buddha, thou become…
“Must I leave this moonlit night
as little Rahula sleeps
wrapped in Yasodhara's arms
In the gentle palace breeze.
Must I leave this comfort behind
that my father, the greatest of ruler
has for me enshrined
to reign it in all its magnificence
and expand his glory to mankind.
Will not my dutiful wife
miss the tender days and night
as I go out to seek
what is still so unknown to me
making this hour forever bleak.”
Siddhartha sighed!
“O Siddharth
let thy mind have no doubt
for the world is waiting for thee out
you have one family here
but another family awaits thee for years...
Vasudhev Kutumbkam
as the dharma beholds
Go and seek for that
what has to be known...
Whilst thou seek what is yet unknown
thy wife and son too will rise
blessed by their sacrifice
following the path you'll create
they too shall become great.
Drop any doubt mind creates
to find the right path,
Buddha, thou must become
O Siddhartha now succumb.
Go, seek!
On this ominous day”
The angels prayed!
